This disassembly is re-derived from the v1.2 tape, but others went before it, and their work was consulted for where to look -- credited, not copied:

• pobtastic's SkoolKit disassembly of the same tape (browse it), which named the save, load and printing routines first.
• Icemark's notes on the data formats.
• bluespikey's annotated SkoolKit disassembly of the v1.0 tape, posted to the Spectrum Computing forums. v1.0's addresses are not v1.2's, so it was used only to know what exists.
• Wilderland: A Hobbit Environment, by CH (2012) and Valerio Messina (since 2019), which runs the game beside live views of its objects, its characters and what they do unseen. Its names for the object record's fields and flag bits agreed with the ones worked out here, and gave bit 4 its name: gives light.

Built with SkoolKit: its simulator played the game to find the code, drew every location's picture for the locations page, and printed every message the pages quote.
