B51D: The notes: 61 of three bytes
Indexed by the low six bits of a note byte (PLAY_NOTE): the first two bytes are the B and C counts that time each half-wave, the third how many waves make one unit of length. Row 0 stands for a rest and is never read.
The same 183 bytes as Knight Lore's and Pentagram's note tables (compared byte for byte), and so the same scale: a semitone a row for five octaves, about G#1 at row 1 and A4 (440Hz) at row 38 by Pentagram's working, with row 18 a copy of row 17's pitch where C#3 should be. The tunes here use rows 23 to 47 only.

The last 26 bytes are not notes. The first 18 are code that nothing reaches -- no instruction or table holds an address in it, and no session ran it: LD A,(TURNS); AND 7; LD L,A; LD H,0; LD BC, the address of the eight bytes after it; ADD HL,BC; LD B,(HL); LD C,4; JP to BEEP (in FOOTSTEP) -- four waves at a pitch from those eight bytes, chosen by the low three bits of the turn counter. The last eight are that table of half-wave counts. It is Knight Lore's blip for its moveable block, byte for byte apart from its three addresses (the turn counter, the table and BEEP), with the same eight pitches -- compared against Knight Lore's loaded snapshot; stage 2 had searched and missed it because the addresses differ.
