Used by the routine at MENU.
Sets the FLASH bit on the colour of the line for the method in bits 1-2 of CONTROL and clears it on the other three (TOGGLE_SELECTED), then sets or clears it on the next colour -- the directional-control line's -- to match bit 3 of CONTROL. The colours are MENU_COLOURS's, from the second; the title's is left alone. As Knight Lore's, Alien 8's and Pentagram's, instruction for instruction.
